I worked with Jake to buy a home in early 2021. As a first time home buyer, Jake was very attentive and responsive to my many questions. I toured multiple homes with Jake and each time he showed up to the showing early and was there to answer my questions and give explanations but also didn’t hover over me as I walked around. He was actively in touch with the Sellers agent and getting intel as to the status of other offers in the crazy market to help me put my best foot forward and negotiate. He thoroughly prepared the offer and other contractual obligations and didn’t hesitate to tweak the wording to more of my liking when I asked. I cannot highly recommend Jake enough to other buyers or sellers. He is local to the Kansas City area and will be both your biggest advocate and best friend by the end of your experience - which doesn’t stop when you close as he goes above and beyond to check up after your purchase. Abby was on the ball keeping the fire lit under us to get our home ready and stay on schedule for listing. If not for her persistence follow through devotion hard work and dedication I probably would not be writing this right now. She always kept us up to date with new and potential listings that fit what we were looking to buy and if we found something we wanted to look at she made herself available. She's knowledgeable about the area friendly and easy to work with well connected understands the business and made us feel like we were her only clients. She did an incredible job with the listing of our home....we sold our house THE FIRST DAY!! At the end of the first day our home was listed we had 21 showings 6 offers and sold our home for more than asking price! We had to cancel showings the following day! I’ve owned many houses, but as a recent widow I’ve never bought one by myself and certainly not during a pandemic. Plus I was trying to move from Texas back to Kansas City. Lots of challenges. But Tyler and Toni really took the time to show me houses carefully within the new Covid guidelines. Their expertise in home remodeling is an added bonus.
